Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 7
Arabic
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ ضَلَّ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَUrdu
تمہارا پروردگار اس کو بھی خوب جانتا ہے جو اس کے رستے سے بھٹک گیا اور ان کو بھی خوب جانتا ہے جو سیدھے راستے پر چل رہے ہیںEnglish
Verily it is thy Lord that knoweth best, which (among men) hath strayed from His Path: and He knoweth best those who receive (true) Guidance. Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 8
Arabic
فَلَا تُطِعِ الْمُكَذِّبِينَUrdu
تو تم جھٹلانے والوں کا کہا نہ مانناEnglish
So hearken not to those who deny (the Truth). Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 9
Arabic
وَدُّوا لَوْ تُدْهِنُ فَيُدْهِنُونَUrdu
یہ لوگ چاہتے ہیں کہ تم نرمی اختیار کرو تو یہ بھی نرم ہوجائیںEnglish
Their desire is that thou shouldst be pliant: so would they be pliant. Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 10
Arabic
وَلَا تُطِعْ كُلَّ حَلَّافٍ مَهِينٍUrdu
اور کسی ایسے شخص کے کہے میں نہ آجانا جو بہت قسمیں کھانے والا ذلیل اوقات ہےEnglish
Heed not the type of despicable men,- ready with oaths, Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 11
Arabic
هَمَّازٍ مَشَّاءٍ بِنَمِيمٍUrdu
طعن آمیز اشارتیں کرنے والا چغلیاں لئے پھرنے والاEnglish
A slanderer, going about with calumnies, Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 12
Arabic
مَنَّاعٍ لِلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍUrdu
مال میں بخل کرنے والا حد سے بڑھا ہوا بدکارEnglish
(Habitually) hindering (all) good, transgressing beyond bounds, deep in sin, Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 13
Arabic
عُتُلٍّ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ زَنِيمٍUrdu
سخت خو اور اس کے علاوہ بدذات ہےEnglish
Violent (and cruel),- with all that, base-born,- Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 14
Arabic
أَنْ كَانَ ذَا مَالٍ وَبَنِينَUrdu
اس سبب سے کہ مال اور بیٹے رکھتا ہےEnglish
Because he possesses wealth and (numerous) sons. Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 15
Arabic
إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَUrdu
جب اس کو ہماری آیتیں پڑھ کر سنائی جاتی ہیں تو کہتا ہے کہ یہ اگلے لوگوں کے افسانے ہیںEnglish
When to him are rehearsed Our Signs, "Tales of the ancients", he cries! Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 16
Arabic
سَنَسِمُهُ عَلَى الْخُرْطُومِUrdu
ہم عنقریب اس کی ناک پر داغ لگائیں گےEnglish
Soon shall We brand (the beast) on the snout! Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 17
Arabic
إِنَّا بَلَوْنَاهُمْ كَمَا بَلَوْنَا أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ إِذْ أَقْسَمُوا لَيَصْرِمُنَّهَا مُصْبِحِينَUrdu
ہم نے ان لوگوں کی اسی طرح آزمائش کی ہے جس طرح باغ والوں کی آزمائش کی تھی۔ جب انہوں نے قسمیں کھا کھا کر کہا کہ صبح ہوتے ہوتے ہم اس کا میوہ توڑ لیں گےEnglish
Verily We have tried them as We tried the People of the Garden, when they resolved to gather the fruits of the (garden) in the morning. Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 18
Arabic
وَلَا يَسْتَثْنُونَUrdu
اور انشاء الله نہ کہاEnglish
But made no reservation, ("If it be Allah´s Will"). Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 19
Arabic
فَطَافَ عَلَيْهَا طَائِفٌ مِنْ رَبِّكَ وَهُمْ نَائِمُونَUrdu
سو وہ ابھی سو ہی رہے تھے کہ تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے (راتوں رات) اس پر ایک آفت پھر گئیEnglish
Then there came on the (garden) a visitation from thy Lord, (which swept away) all around, while they were asleep. Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 20
Arabic
فَأَصْبَحَتْ كَالصَّرِيمِUrdu
تو وہ ایسا ہوگیا جیسے کٹی ہوئی کھیتیEnglish
So the (garden) became, by the morning, like a dark and desolate spot, (whose fruit had been gathered). Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 21
Arabic
فَتَنَادَوْا مُصْبِحِينَUrdu
جب صبح ہوئی تو وہ لوگ ایک دوسرے کو پکارنے لگےEnglish
As the morning broke, they called out, one to another,- Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 22
Arabic
أَنِ اغْدُوا عَلَىٰ حَرْثِكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَارِمِينَUrdu
اگر تم کو کاٹنا ہے تو اپنی کھیتی پر سویرے ہی جا پہنچوEnglish
"Go ye to your tilth (betimes) in the morning, if ye would gather the fruits." Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 23
Arabic
فَانْطَلَقُوا وَهُمْ يَتَخَافَتُونَUrdu
تو وہ چل پڑے اور آپس میں چپکے چپکے کہتے جاتے تھےEnglish
So they departed, conversing in secret low tones, (saying)- Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 24
Arabic
أَنْ لَا يَدْخُلَنَّهَا الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِسْكِينٌUrdu
آج یہاں تمہارے پاس کوئی فقیر نہ آنے پائےEnglish
"Let not a single indigent person break in upon you into the (garden) this day." Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 25
Arabic
وَغَدَوْا عَلَىٰ حَرْدٍ قَادِرِينَUrdu
اور کوشش کے ساتھ سویرے ہی جا پہنچے (گویا کھیتی پر) قادر ہیںEnglish
And they opened the morning, strong in an (unjust) resolve. Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 26
Arabic
فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهَا قَالُوا إِنَّا لَضَالُّونَUrdu
جب باغ کو دیکھا تو (ویران) کہنے لگے کہ ہم رستہ بھول گئے ہیںEnglish
But when they saw the (garden), they said: "We have surely lost our way: Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 27
Arabic
بَلْ نَحْنُ مَحْرُومُونَUrdu
نہیں بلکہ ہم (برگشتہ نصیب) بےنصیب ہیںEnglish
"Indeed we are shut out (of the fruits of our labour)!" Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 28
Arabic
قَالَ أَوْسَطُهُمْ أَلَمْ أَقُلْ لَكُمْ لَوْلَا تُسَبِّحُونَUrdu
ایک جو اُن میں فرزانہ تھا بولا کہ کیا میں نے تم سے نہیں کہا تھا کہ تم تسبیح کیوں نہیں کرتے؟English
Said one of them, more just (than the rest): "Did I not say to you, ´Why not glorify (Allah)?´" Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 29
Arabic
قَالُوا سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَUrdu
(تب) وہ کہنے لگے کہ ہمارا پروردگار پاک ہے بےشک ہم ہی قصوروار تھےEnglish
They said: "Glory to our Lord! Verily we have been doing wrong!" Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 30
Arabic
فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَلَاوَمُونَUrdu
پھر لگے ایک دوسرے کو رو در رو ملامت کرنےEnglish
Then they turned, one against another, in reproach. Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 31
Arabic
قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا طَاغِينَUrdu
کہنے لگے ہائے شامت ہم ہی حد سے بڑھ گئے تھےEnglish
They said: "Alas for us! We have indeed transgressed! Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 32
Arabic
عَسَىٰ رَبُّنَا أَنْ يُبْدِلَنَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا إِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا رَاغِبُونَUrdu
امید ہے کہ ہمارا پروردگار اس کے بدلے میں ہمیں اس سے بہتر باغ عنایت کرے ہم اپنے پروردگار کی طرف سے رجوع لاتے ہیںEnglish
"It may be that our Lord will give us in exchange a better (garden) than this: for we do turn to Him (in repentance)!" Surah Al-Qalam: 68 Ayah: 33
