Surah Ibrahim: 14 Ayah: 7
Arabic
وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِنْ شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ ۖ وَلَئِنْ كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌUrdu
اور جب تمہارے پروردگار نے (تم کو) آگاہ کیا کہ اگر شکر کرو گے تو میں تمہیں زیادہ دوں گا اور اگر ناشکری کرو گے تو (یاد رکھو کہ) میرا عذاب بھی سخت ہےEnglish
And remember! your Lord caused to be declared (publicly): "If ye are grateful, I will add more (favours) unto you; But if ye show ingratitude, truly My punishment is terrible indeed." Surah Saba: 34 Ayah: 15
Arabic
لَقَدْ كَانَ لِسَبَإٍ فِي مَسْكَنِهِمْ آيَةٌ ۖ جَنَّتَانِ عَنْ يَمِينٍ وَشِمَالٍ ۖ كُلُوا مِنْ رِزْقِ رَبِّكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لَهُ ۚ بَلْدَةٌ طَيِّبَةٌ وَرَبٌّ غَفُورٌUrdu
(اہل) سبا کے لئے ان کے مقام بودوباش میں ایک نشانی تھی (یعنی) دو باغ (ایک) داہنی طرف اور (ایک) بائیں طرف۔ اپنے پروردگار کا رزق کھاؤ اور اس کا شکر کرو۔ (یہاں تمہارے رہنے کو یہ) پاکیزہ شہر ہے اور (وہاں بخشنے کو) خدائے غفارEnglish
There was, for Saba, aforetime, a Sign in their home-land - two Gardens to the right and to the left. "Eat of the Sustenance (provided) by your Lord, and be grateful to Him: a territory fair and happy, and a Lord Oft-Forgiving! Surah Saba: 34 Ayah: 16

فَأَعْرَضُوا فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَيْلَ الْعَرِمِ وَبَدَّلْنَاهُمْ بِجَنَّتَيْهِمْ جَنَّتَيْنِ ذَوَاتَيْ أُكُلٍ خَمْطٍ وَأَثْلٍ وَشَيْءٍ مِنْ سِدْرٍ قَلِيلٍUrdu
تو انہوں نے (شکرگزاری سے) منہ پھیر لیا پس ہم نے ان پر زور کا سیلاب چھوڑ دیا اور انہیں ان کے باغوں کے بدلے دو ایسے باغ دیئے جن کے میوے بدمزہ تھے اور جن میں کچھ تو جھاؤ تھا اور تھوڑی سی بیریاںEnglish
But they turned away (from Allah), and We sent against them the Flood (released) from the dams, and We converted their two garden (rows) into "gardens" producing bitter fruit, and tamarisks, and some few (stunted) Lote-trees. Surah Saba: 34 Ayah: 17
Arabic
ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُمْ بِمَا كَفَرُوا ۖ وَهَلْ نُجَازِي إِلَّا الْكَفُورَUrdu
یہ ہم نے ان کی ناشکری کی ان کو سزا دی۔ اور ہم سزا ناشکرے ہی کو دیا کرتے ہیںEnglish
That was the Requital We gave them because they ungratefully rejected Faith: and never do We give (such) requital except to such as are ungrateful rejecters. Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 33
Arabic
كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ بِالنُّذُرِUrdu
لوط کی قوم نے بھی ڈر سنانے والوں کو جھٹلایا تھاEnglish
The people of Lut rejected (his) warning. Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 34
Arabic
إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ حَاصِبًا إِلَّا آلَ لُوطٍ ۖ نَجَّيْنَاهُمْ بِسَحَرٍUrdu
تو ہم نے ان پر کنکر بھری ہوا چلائی مگر لوط کے گھر والے کہ ہم نے ان کو پچھلی رات ہی سے بچا لیاEnglish
We sent against them a violent Tornado with showers of stones, (which destroyed them), except Lut´s household: them We delivered by early Dawn,- Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 35
Arabic
نِعْمَةً مِنْ عِنْدِنَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي مَنْ شَكَرَUrdu
اپنے فضل سے۔ شکر کرنے والوں کو ہم ایسا ہی بدلہ دیا کرتے ہیںEnglish
As a Grace from Us: thus do We reward those who give thanks. Surah An-Nisaa: 4 Ayah: 147
Arabic
مَا يَفْعَلُ اللَّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمْ إِنْ شَكَرْتُمْ وَآمَنْتُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِيمًاUrdu
اگر تم (خدا کے شکرگزار رہو اور (اس پر) ایمان لے آؤ تو خدا تم کو عذاب دے کر کیا کرے گا۔ اور خدا تو قدرشناس اور دانا ہےEnglish
What can Allah gain by your punishment, if ye are grateful and ye believe? Nay, it is Allah that recogniseth (all good), and knoweth all things. Surah Al-i'Imran: 3 Ayah: 144
Arabic
وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلَّا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ ۚ أَفَإِنْ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَىٰ أَعْقَابِكُمْ ۚ وَمَنْ يَنْقَلِبْ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا ۗ وَسَيَجْزِي اللَّهُ الشَّاكِرِينَUrdu
اور محمد (صلی الله علیہ وسلم) تو صرف (خدا کے) پیغمبر ہیں ان سے پہلے بھی بہت سے پیغمبر ہو گزرے ہیں بھلا اگر یہ مر جائیں یا مارے جائیں تو تم الٹے پاؤں پھر جاؤ؟ (یعنی مرتد ہو جاؤ؟) اور جو الٹے پاؤں پھر جائے گا تو خدا کا کچھ نقصان نہ کر سکے گا اور خدا شکر گزاروں کو (بڑا) ثواب دے گاEnglish
Muhammad is no more than a messenger: many Were the messenger that passed away before him. If he died or were slain, will ye then Turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah; but Allah (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve Him) with gratitude. Surah Al-i'Imran: 3 Ayah: 145
Arabic
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ تَمُوتَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ كِتَابًا مُؤَجَّلًا ۗ وَمَنْ يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَنْ يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الْآخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا ۚ وَسَنَجْزِي الشَّاكِرِينَUrdu
اور کسی شخص میں طاقت نہیں کہ خدا کے حکم کے بغیر مر جائے (اس نے موت کا) وقت مقرر کر کے لکھ رکھا ہے اور جو شخص دنیا میں (اپنے اعمال کا) بدلہ چاہے اس کو ہم یہیں بدلہ دے دیں گے اور جو آخرت میں طالبِ ثواب ہو اس کو وہاں اجر عطا کریں گے اور ہم شکر گزاروں کو عنقریب (بہت اچھا) صلہ دیں گےEnglish
Nor can a soul die except by Allah´s leave, the term being fixed as by writing. If any do desire a reward in this life, We shall give it to him; and if any do desire a reward in the Hereafter, We shall give it to him. And swiftly shall We reward those that (serve us with) gratitude. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 2
Arabic
إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًاUrdu
ہم نے انسان کو نطفہٴ مخلوط سے پیدا کیا تاکہ اسے آزمائیں تو ہم نے اس کو سنتا دیکھتا بنایاEnglish
Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 3
Arabic
إِنَّا هَدَيْنَاهُ السَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًاUrdu
(اور) اسے رستہ بھی دکھا دیا۔ (اب) وہ خواہ شکرگزار ہو خواہ ناشکراEnglish
We showed him the Way: whether he be grateful or ungrateful (rests on his will). Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 4
Arabic
إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ سَلَاسِلَ وَأَغْلَالًا وَسَعِيرًاUrdu
ہم نے کافروں کے لئے زنجیر اور طوق اور دہکتی آگ تیار کر رکھی ہےEnglish
For the Rejecters we have prepared chains, yokes, and a blazing Fire. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 5
Arabic
إِنَّ الْأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِنْ كَأْسٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورًاUrdu
جو نیکو کار ہیں اور وہ ایسی شراب نوش جان کریں گے جس میں کافور کی آمیزش ہوگیEnglish
As to the Righteous, they shall drink of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Kafur,- Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 6
Arabic
عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ اللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيرًاUrdu
یہ ایک چشمہ ہے جس میں سے خدا کے بندے پئیں گے اور اس میں سے (چھوٹی چھوٹی) نہریں نکالیں گےEnglish
A Fountain where the Devotees of Allah do drink, making it flow in unstinted abundance. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 7
Arabic
يُوفُونَ بِالنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا كَانَ شَرُّهُ مُسْتَطِيرًاUrdu
یہ لوگ نذریں پوری کرتے ہیں اور اس دن سے جس کی سختی پھیل رہی ہوگی خوف رکھتے ہیںEnglish
They perform (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil flies far and wide. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 8
Arabic
وَيُطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًاUrdu
اور باوجود یہ کہ ان کو خود طعام کی خواہش (اور حاجت) ہے فقیروں اور یتیموں اور قیدیوں کو کھلاتے ہیںEnglish
And they feed, for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive,- Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 9
Arabic
إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ اللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنْكُمْ جَزَاءً وَلَا شُكُورًاUrdu
(اور کہتے ہیں کہ) ہم تم کو خالص خدا کے لئے کھلاتے ہیں۔ نہ تم سے عوض کے خواستگار ہیں نہ شکرگزاری کے (طلبگار)English
(Saying),"We feed you for the sake of Allah alone: no reward do we desire from you, nor thanks. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 10
Arabic
إِنَّا نَخَافُ مِنْ رَبِّنَا يَوْمًا عَبُوسًا قَمْطَرِيرًاUrdu
ہم کو اپنے پروردگار سے اس دن کا ڈر لگتا ہے (جو چہروں کو) کریہہ المنظر اور (دلوں کو) سخت (مضطر کر دینے والا) ہےEnglish
"We only fear a Day of distressful Wrath from the side of our Lord." Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 11
Arabic
فَوَقَاهُمُ اللَّهُ شَرَّ ذَٰلِكَ الْيَوْمِ وَلَقَّاهُمْ نَضْرَةً وَسُرُورًاUrdu
تو خدا ان کو اس دن کی سختی سے بچالے گا اور تازگی اور خوش دلی عنایت فرمائے گاEnglish
But Allah will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and (blissful) Joy. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 12
Arabic
وَجَزَاهُمْ بِمَا صَبَرُوا جَنَّةً وَحَرِيرًاUrdu
اور ان کے صبر کے بدلے ان کو بہشت (کے باغات) اور ریشم (کے ملبوسات) عطا کرے گاEnglish
And because they were patient and constant, He will reward them with a Garden and (garments of) silk. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 13
Arabic
مُتَّكِئِينَ فِيهَا عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ ۖ لَا يَرَوْنَ فِيهَا شَمْسًا وَلَا زَمْهَرِيرًاUrdu
ان میں وہ تختوں پر تکیے لگائے بیٹھے ہوں گے۔ وہاں نہ دھوپ (کی حدت) دیکھیں گے نہ سردی کی شدتEnglish
Reclining in the (Garden) on raised thrones, they will see there neither the sun´s (excessive heat) nor (the moon´s) excessive cold. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 14
Arabic
وَدَانِيَةً عَلَيْهِمْ ظِلَالُهَا وَذُلِّلَتْ قُطُوفُهَا تَذْلِيلًاUrdu
ان سے (ثمردار شاخیں اور) ان کے سائے قریب ہوں گے اور میوؤں کے گچھے جھکے ہوئے لٹک رہے ہوں گےEnglish
And the shades of the (Garden) will come low over them, and the bunches (of fruit), there, will hang low in humility. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 15
Arabic
وَيُطَافُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِآنِيَةٍ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ كَانَتْ قَوَارِيرَاUrdu
خدام) چاندی کے باسن لئے ہوئے ان کے اردگرد پھریں گے اور شیشے کے (نہایت شفاف) گلاسEnglish
And amongst them will be passed round vessels of silver and goblets of crystal,- Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 16
Arabic
قَوَارِيرَ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ قَدَّرُوهَا تَقْدِيرًاUrdu
اور شیشے بھی چاندی کے جو ٹھیک اندازے کے مطابق بنائے گئے ہیںEnglish
Crystal-clear, made of silver: they will determine the measure thereof (according to their wishes). Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 17
Arabic
وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنْجَبِيلًاUrdu
اور وہاں ان کو ایسی شراب (بھی) پلائی جائے گی جس میں سونٹھ کی آمیزش ہوگیEnglish
And they will be given to drink there of a Cup (of Wine) mixed with Zanjabil,- Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 18
Arabic
عَيْنًا فِيهَا تُسَمَّىٰ سَلْسَبِيلًاUrdu
یہ بہشت میں ایک چشمہ ہے جس کا نام سلسبیل ہےEnglish
A fountain there, called Salsabil. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 19
Arabic
وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ وِلْدَانٌ مُخَلَّدُونَ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُمْ حَسِبْتَهُمْ لُؤْلُؤًا مَنْثُورًاUrdu
اور ان کے پاس لڑکے آتے جاتے ہوں گے جو ہمیشہ (ایک ہی حالت پر) رہیں گے۔ جب تم ان پر نگاہ ڈالو تو خیال کرو کہ بکھرے ہوئے موتی ہیںEnglish
And round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness): If thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered Pearls. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 20
Arabic
وَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ ثَمَّ رَأَيْتَ نَعِيمًا وَمُلْكًا كَبِيرًاUrdu
اور بہشت میں (جہاں) آنکھ اٹھاؤ گے کثرت سے نعمت اور عظیم (الشان) سلطنت دیکھو گےEnglish
And when thou lookest, it is there thou wilt see a Bliss and a Realm Magnificent. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 21
Arabic
عَالِيَهُمْ ثِيَابُ سُنْدُسٍ خُضْرٌ وَإِسْتَبْرَقٌ ۖ وَحُلُّوا أَسَاوِرَ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَسَقَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ شَرَابًا طَهُورًاUrdu
ان (کے بدنوں) پر دیبا سبز اور اطلس کے کپڑے ہوں گے۔ اور انہیں چاندی کے کنگن پہنائے جائیں گے اور ان کا پروردگار ان کو نہایت پاکیزہ شراب پلائے گاEnglish
Upon them will be green Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver; and their Lord will give to them to drink of a Wine Pure and Holy. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 22
