Surah Al-Kahf: 18 Ayah: 32
Arabic
وَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَثَلًا رَجُلَيْنِ جَعَلْنَا لِأَحَدِهِمَا جَنَّتَيْنِ مِنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَحَفَفْنَاهُمَا بِنَخْلٍ وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُمَا زَرْعًاUrdu
اور ان سے دو شخصوں کا حال بیان کرو جن میں سے ایک ہم نے انگور کے دو باغ (عنایت) کئے تھے اور ان کے گردا گرد کھجوروں کے درخت لگا دیئے تھے اور ان کے درمیان کھیتی پیدا کردی تھیEnglish
Set forth to them the parable of two men: for one of them We provided two gardens of grape-vines and surrounded them with date palms; in between the two We placed corn-fields. Surah Al-Kahf: 18 Ayah: 33
Arabic
كِلْتَا الْجَنَّتَيْنِ آتَتْ أُكُلَهَا وَلَمْ تَظْلِمْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا ۚ وَفَجَّرْنَا خِلَالَهُمَا نَهَرًاUrdu
دونوں باغ (کثرت سے) پھل لاتے۔ اور اس (کی پیداوار) میں کسی طرح کی کمی نہ ہوتی اور دونوں میں ہم نے ایک نہر بھی جاری کر رکھی تھیEnglish
Each of those gardens brought forth its produce, and failed not in the least therein: in the midst of them We caused a river to flow. Surah Al-Kahf: 18 Ayah: 34
Arabic
وَكَانَ لَهُ ثَمَرٌ فَقَالَ لِصَاحِبِهِ وَهُوَ يُحَاوِرُهُ أَنَا أَكْثَرُ مِنْكَ مَالًا وَأَعَزُّ نَفَرًاUrdu
اور (اس طرح) اس (شخص) کو (ان کی) پیداوار (ملتی رہتی) تھی تو (ایک دن) جب کہ وہ اپنے دوست سے باتیں کر رہا تھا کہنے لگا کہ میں تم سے مال ودولت میں بھی زیادہ ہوں اور جتھے (اور جماعت) کے لحاظ سے بھی زیادہ عزت والا ہوںEnglish
(Abundant) was the produce this man had : he said to his companion, in the course of a mutual argument: "more wealth have I than you, and more honour and power in (my following of) men." Surah Al-Kahf: 18 Ayah: 35
Arabic
وَدَخَلَ جَنَّتَهُ وَهُوَ ظَالِمٌ لِنَفْسِهِ قَالَ مَا أَظُنُّ أَنْ تَبِيدَ هَٰذِهِ أَبَدًاUrdu
اور (ایسی شیخیوں) سے اپنے حق میں ظلم کرتا ہوا اپنے باغ میں داخل ہوا۔ کہنے لگا کہ میں نہیں خیال کرتا کہ یہ باغ کبھی تباہ ہوEnglish
He went into his garden in a state (of mind) unjust to his soul: He said, "I deem not that this will ever perish, Surah Al-Kahf: 18 Ayah: 36
Arabic
وَمَا أَظُنُّ السَّاعَةَ قَائِمَةً وَلَئِنْ رُدِدْتُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي لَأَجِدَنَّ خَيْرًا مِنْهَا مُنْقَلَبًاUrdu
اور نہ خیال کرتا ہوں کہ قیامت برپا ہو۔ اور اگر میں اپنے پروردگار کی طرف لوٹایا بھی جاؤں تو (وہاں) ضرور اس سے اچھی جگہ پاؤں گاEnglish
"Nor do I deem that the Hour (of Judgment) will (ever) come: Even if I am brought back to my Lord, I shall surely find (there) something better in exchange." Surah Al-Kahf: 18 Ayah: 37
Arabic
قَالَ لَهُ صَاحِبُهُ وَهُوَ يُحَاوِرُهُ أَكَفَرْتَ بِالَّذِي خَلَقَكَ مِنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ سَوَّاكَ رَجُلًاUrdu
تو اس کا دوست جو اس سے گفتگو کر رہا تھا کہنے لگا کہ کیا تم اس (خدا) سے کفر کرتے ہو جس نے تم کو مٹی سے پیدا کیا پھر نطفے سے پھر تمہیں پورا مرد بنایاEnglish
His companion said to him, in the course of the argument with him: "Dost thou deny Him Who created thee out of dust, then out of a sperm-drop, then fashioned thee into a man? Surah Al-Kahf: 18 Ayah: 38
Arabic
لَٰكِنَّا هُوَ اللَّهُ رَبِّي وَلَا أُشْرِكُ بِرَبِّي أَحَدًاUrdu
مگر میں تو یہ کہتا ہوں کہ خدا ہی میرا پروردگار ہے اور میں اپنے پروردگار کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہیں کرتاEnglish
"But (I think) for my part that He is Allah, My Lord, and none shall I associate with my Lord. Surah Al-Kahf: 18 Ayah: 39
Arabic
وَلَوْلَا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ ۚ إِنْ تَرَنِ أَنَا أَقَلَّ مِنْكَ مَالًا وَوَلَدًاUrdu
اور (بھلا) جب تم اپنے باغ میں داخل ہوئے تو تم نے ماشاالله لاقوة الابالله کیوں نہ کہا۔ اگر تم مجھے مال واولاد میں اپنے سے کمتر دیکھتے ہوEnglish
"Why didst thou not, as thou wentest into thy garden, say: ´Allah´s will (be done)! There is no power but with Allah!´ If thou dost see me less than thee in wealth and sons, Surah Al-Kahf: 18 Ayah: 40
Arabic
فَعَسَىٰ رَبِّي أَنْ يُؤْتِيَنِ خَيْرًا مِنْ جَنَّتِكَ وَيُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهَا حُسْبَانًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَتُصْبِحَ صَعِيدًا زَلَقًاUrdu
تو عجب نہیں کہ میرا پروردگار مجھے تمہارے باغ سے بہتر عطا فرمائے اور اس (تمہارے باغ) پر آسمان سے آفت بھیج دے تو وہ صاف میدان ہوجائےEnglish
"It may be that my Lord will give me something better than thy garden, and that He will send on thy garden thunderbolts (by way of reckoning) from heaven, making it (but) slippery sand!- Surah Al-Kahf: 18 Ayah: 41
Arabic
أَوْ يُصْبِحَ مَاؤُهَا غَوْرًا فَلَنْ تَسْتَطِيعَ لَهُ طَلَبًاUrdu
یا اس (کی نہر) کا پانی گہرا ہوجائے تو پھر تم اسے نہ لاسکوEnglish
"Or the water of the garden will run off underground so that thou wilt never be able to find it." Surah Al-Kahf: 18 Ayah: 42
Arabic
وَأُحِيطَ بِثَمَرِهِ فَأَصْبَحَ يُقَلِّبُ كَفَّيْهِ عَلَىٰ مَا أَنْفَقَ فِيهَا وَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا وَيَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أُشْرِكْ بِرَبِّي أَحَدًاUrdu
اور اس کے میووں کو عذاب نے آگھیرا اور وہ اپنی چھتریوں پر گر کر رہ گیا۔ تو جو مال اس نے اس پر خرچ کیا تھا اس پر (حسرت سے) ہاتھ ملنے لگا اور کہنے لگا کہ کاش میں اپنے پروردگار کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ بناتاEnglish
So his fruits (and enjoyment) were encompassed (with ruin), and he remained twisting and turning his hands over what he had spent on his property, which had (now) tumbled to pieces to its very foundations, and he could only say, "Woe is me! Would I had never ascribed partners to my Lord and Cherisher!" Surah Al-Kahf: 18 Ayah: 43
Arabic
وَلَمْ تَكُنْ لَهُ فِئَةٌ يَنْصُرُونَهُ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَمَا كَانَ مُنْتَصِرًاUrdu
(اس وقت) خدا کے سوا کوئی جماعت اس کی مددگار نہ ہوئی اور نہ وہ بدلہ لے سکاEnglish
Nor had he numbers to help him against Allah, nor was he able to deliver himself. Surah Al-Kahf: 18 Ayah: 44
