Surah Al-Baqara: 2 Ayah: 271
Arabic
إِنْ تُبْدُوا الصَّدَقَاتِ فَنِعِمَّا هِيَ ۖ وَإِنْ تُخْفُوهَا وَتُؤْتُوهَا الْفُقَرَاءَ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ ۚ وَيُكَفِّرُ عَنْكُمْ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌUrdu
اگر تم خیرات ظاہر دو تو وہ بھی خوب ہے اور اگر پوشیدہ دو اور دو بھی اہل حاجت کو تو وہ خوب تر ہے اور (اس طرح کا دینا) تمہارے گناہوں کو بھی دور کردے گا۔ اور خدا کو تمہارے سب کاموں کی خبر ہےEnglish
If ye disclose (acts of) charity, even so it is well, but if ye conceal them, and make them reach those (really) in need, that is best for you: It will remove from you some of your (stains of) evil. And Allah is well acquainted with what ye do. Surah Al-Baqara: 2 Ayah: 262
Arabic
الَّذِينَ يُنْفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ لَا يُتْبِعُونَ مَا أَنْفَقُوا مَنًّا وَلَا أَذًى ۙ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَUrdu
جو لوگ اپنا مال خدا کے رستے میں صرف کرتے ہیں پھر اس کے بعد نہ اس خرچ کا (کسی پر) احسان رکھتے ہیں اور نہ (کسی کو) تکلیف دیتے ہیں۔ ان کا صلہ ان کے پروردگار کے پاس (تیار) ہے۔ اور (قیامت کے روز) نہ ان کو کچھ خوف ہوگا اور نہ وہ غمگین ہوں گےEnglish
Those who spend their substance in the cause of Allah, and follow not up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury,-for them their reward is with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. Surah Al-Baqara: 2 Ayah: 263
Arabic
قَوْلٌ مَعْرُوفٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ يَتْبَعُهَا أَذًى ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَلِيمٌUrdu
جس خیرات دینے کے بعد (لینے والے کو) ایذا دی جائے اس سے تو نرم بات کہہ دینی اور (اس کی بے ادبی سے) درگزر کرنا بہتر ہے اور خدا بےپروا اور بردبار ہےEnglish
Kind words and the covering of faults are better than charity followed by injury. Allah is free of all wants, and He is Most-Forbearing. Surah Al-Baqara: 2 Ayah: 264
Arabic
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُبْطِلُوا صَدَقَاتِكُمْ بِالْمَنِّ وَالْأَذَىٰ كَالَّذِي يُنْفِقُ مَالَهُ رِئَاءَ النَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۖ فَمَثَلُهُ كَمَثَلِ صَفْوَانٍ عَلَيْهِ تُرَابٌ فَأَصَابَهُ وَابِلٌ فَتَرَكَهُ صَلْدًا ۖ لَا يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِرِينَUrdu
مومنو! اپنے صدقات (وخیرات)احسان رکھنے اور ایذا دینے سے اس شخص کی طرح برباد نہ کردینا۔ جو لوگوں کو دکھاوے کے لئے مال خرچ کرتا ہے اور خدا اور روز آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتا۔ تو اس (کے مال) کی مثال اس چٹان کی سی ہے جس پر تھوڑی سی مٹی پڑی ہو اور اس پر زور کا مینہ برس کر اسے صاف کر ڈالے۔ (اسی طرح) یہ (ریاکار) لوگ اپنے اعمال کا کچھ بھی صلہ حاصل نہیں کرسکیں گے۔ اور خدا ایسے ناشکروں کو ہدایت نہیں دیا کرتاEnglish
O ye who believe! cancel not your charity by reminders of your generosity or by injury,- like those who spend their substance to be seen of men, but believe neither in Allah nor in the Last Day. They are in parable like a hard, barren rock, on which is a little soil: on it falls heavy rain, which leaves it (Just) a bare stone. They will be able to do nothing with aught they have earned. And Allah guideth not those who reject faith. Surah An-Nisaa: 4 Ayah: 38
Arabic
وَالَّذِينَ يُنْفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ رِئَاءَ النَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَلَا بِالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۗ وَمَنْ يَكُنِ الشَّيْطَانُ لَهُ قَرِينًا فَسَاءَ قَرِينًاUrdu
اور خرچ بھی کریں تو (خدا کے لئے نہیں بلکہ) لوگوں کے دکھانے کو اور ایمان نہ خدا پر لائیں اور نہ روز آخرت پر (ایسے لوگوں کو ساتھی شیطان ہے) اور جس کا ساتھی شیطان ہوا تو (کچھ شک نہیں کہ) وہ برا ساتھی ہےEnglish
Not those who spend of their substance, to be seen of men, but have no faith in Allah and the Last Day: If any take the Evil One for their intimate, what a dreadful intimate he is! Surah Al-Baqara: 2 Ayah: 267
Arabic
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْفِقُوا مِنْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا كَسَبْتُمْ وَمِمَّا أَخْرَجْنَا لَكُمْ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ ۖ وَلَا تَيَمَّمُوا الْخَبِيثَ مِنْهُ تُنْفِقُونَ وَلَسْتُمْ بِآخِذِيهِ إِلَّا أَنْ تُغْمِضُوا فِيهِ ۚ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌUrdu
مومنو! جو پاکیزہ اور عمدہ مال تم کماتے ہوں اور جو چیزیں ہم تمہارے لئے زمین سےنکالتے ہیں ان میں سے (راہ خدا میں) خرچ کرو۔ اور بری اور ناپاک چیزیں دینے کا قصد نہ کرنا کہ (اگر وہ چیزیں تمہیں دی جائیں تو) بجز اس کے کہ (لیتے وقت) آنکھیں بند کرلو ان کو کبھی نہ لو۔ اور جان رکھو کہ خدا بےپروا (اور) قابل ستائش ہےEnglish
O ye who believe! Give of the good things which ye have (honourably) earned, and of the fruits of the earth which We have produced for you, and do not even aim at getting anything which is bad, in order that out of it ye may give away something, when ye yourselves would not receive it except with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Free of all wants, and worthy of all praise. Surah Al-Lail: 92 Ayah: 18
Arabic
الَّذِي يُؤْتِي مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّىٰUrdu
جو مال دیتا ہے تاکہ پاک ہوEnglish
Those who spend their wealth for increase in self-purification, Surah Al-Lail: 92 Ayah: 19
Arabic
وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِنْدَهُ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰUrdu
اور (اس لیے) نہیں( دیتا کہ) اس پر کسی کا احسان (ہے) جس کا وہ بدلہ اتارتا ہےEnglish
And have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return, Surah Al-Lail: 92 Ayah: 20
Arabic
إِلَّا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ الْأَعْلَىٰUrdu
بلکہ اپنے خداوند اعلیٰ کی رضامندی حاصل کرنے کے لیے دیتا ہےEnglish
But only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High; Surah Al-Lail: 92 Ayah: 21
Arabic
وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰUrdu
اور وہ عنقریب خوش ہو جائے گاEnglish
And soon will they attain (complete) satisfaction. Surah Adh-Dhuha: 93 Ayah: 10
Arabic
وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْUrdu
اور مانگنے والے کو جھڑکی نہ دیناEnglish
Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); Surah Al-Balad: 90 Ayah: 10
Arabic
وَهَدَيْنَاهُ النَّجْدَيْنِUrdu
(یہ چیزیں بھی دیں) اور اس کو (خیر و شر کے) دونوں رستے بھی دکھا دیئےEnglish
And shown him the two highways? Surah Al-Balad: 90 Ayah: 11
Arabic
فَلَا اقْتَحَمَ الْعَقَبَةَUrdu
مگر وہ گھاٹی پر سے ہو کر نہ گزراEnglish
But he hath made no haste on the path that is steep. Surah Al-Balad: 90 Ayah: 12
Arabic
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْعَقَبَةُUrdu
اور تم کیا سمجھے کہ گھاٹی کیا ہے؟English
And what will explain to thee the path that is steep?- Surah Al-Balad: 90 Ayah: 13
Arabic
فَكُّ رَقَبَةٍUrdu
کسی (کی) گردن کا چھڑاناEnglish
(It is:) freeing the bondman; Surah Al-Balad: 90 Ayah: 14
Arabic
أَوْ إِطْعَامٌ فِي يَوْمٍ ذِي مَسْغَبَةٍUrdu
یا بھوک کے دن کھانا کھلاناEnglish
Or the giving of food in a day of privation Surah Al-Balad: 90 Ayah: 15
Arabic
يَتِيمًا ذَا مَقْرَبَةٍUrdu
یتیم رشتہ دار کوEnglish
To the orphan with claims of relationship, Surah Al-Balad: 90 Ayah: 16
Arabic
أَوْ مِسْكِينًا ذَا مَتْرَبَةٍUrdu
یا فقیر خاکسار کوEnglish
Or to the indigent (down) in the dust. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 6
Arabic
عَيْنًا يَشْرَبُ بِهَا عِبَادُ اللَّهِ يُفَجِّرُونَهَا تَفْجِيرًاUrdu
یہ ایک چشمہ ہے جس میں سے خدا کے بندے پئیں گے اور اس میں سے (چھوٹی چھوٹی) نہریں نکالیں گےEnglish
A Fountain where the Devotees of Allah do drink, making it flow in unstinted abundance. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 7
Arabic
يُوفُونَ بِالنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا كَانَ شَرُّهُ مُسْتَطِيرًاUrdu
یہ لوگ نذریں پوری کرتے ہیں اور اس دن سے جس کی سختی پھیل رہی ہوگی خوف رکھتے ہیںEnglish
They perform (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil flies far and wide. Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 8
Arabic
وَيُطْعِمُونَ الطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِ مِسْكِينًا وَيَتِيمًا وَأَسِيرًاUrdu
اور باوجود یہ کہ ان کو خود طعام کی خواہش (اور حاجت) ہے فقیروں اور یتیموں اور قیدیوں کو کھلاتے ہیںEnglish
And they feed, for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan, and the captive,- Surah Ad-Dahr: 76 Ayah: 9
