I had my nikkah in march 2015. No rukhsati. My husband lives in Australia. Due to paper work immigration my rukhsati was planned to be in November. After nikkah my mother in law started demanding gold coins and branded gifts on every occasion even on occasion of my sister in laws going for umrah. She demanded big lunches and dinners for their big family 7 siblings with their families to big hotels. And when questioned she says we do for our daughters you have too. She demanded nikkah in a banquet too. After nikkah my husband n her was in a hurry that I give my amc exam before rukhsaty and start working as a dr in Australia as I get married.my father planned to do my and my sister wedding together but on this thing which was clear before nikkah. My husband shouted and insulted my parents very badly that he caanot share stage and by anyhow a separate big event plus a hi standard mehendi should be done by us. My parents were shattered by his thrilling insulting nature and decided to finish this relationship. But waited. The other day I told him he did wring and we will finish this so he said sorry. No response from the family and after ten days they demanded 25000$ in thr name of furniture. And said it was said before. We were unable to catch their lies. Also they kept no ties with me.not even on eid ul fitr as the money wasn’t sent. We appealed khula. Now I just want to ask after reading talaq and questionquran I haven’t made any wrong step? Im satisfied at heart because the guy still black mails me on putting my pictures on wrong websites if I dont take my case back
