Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 1
Arabic
وَالنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰUrdu
تارے کی قسم جب غائب ہونے لگےEnglish
By the Star when it goes down,- Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 2
Arabic
مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوَىٰUrdu
کہ تمہارے رفیق (محمدﷺ) نہ رستہ بھولے ہیں نہ بھٹکے ہیںEnglish
Your Companion is neither astray nor being misled. Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 3
Arabic
وَمَا يَنْطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰUrdu
اور نہ خواہش نفس سے منہ سے بات نکالتے ہیںEnglish
Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire. Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 4
Arabic
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْيٌ يُوحَىٰUrdu
یہ (قرآن) تو حکم خدا ہے جو (ان کی طرف) بھیجا جاتا ہےEnglish
It is no less than inspiration sent down to him: Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 5
Arabic
عَلَّمَهُ شَدِيدُ الْقُوَىٰUrdu
ان کو نہایت قوت والے نے سکھایاEnglish
He was taught by one Mighty in Power, Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 6
Arabic
ذُو مِرَّةٍ فَاسْتَوَىٰUrdu
(یعنی جبرائیل) طاقتور نے پھر وہ پورے نظر آئےEnglish
Endued with Wisdom: for he appeared (in stately form); Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 7
Arabic
وَهُوَ بِالْأُفُقِ الْأَعْلَىٰUrdu
اور وہ (آسمان کے) اونچے کنارے میں تھےEnglish
While he was in the highest part of the horizon: Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 8
Arabic
ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّىٰUrdu
پھر قریب ہوئے اوراَور آگے بڑھےEnglish
Then he approached and came closer, Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 9
Arabic
فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ أَوْ أَدْنَىٰUrdu
تو دو کمان کے فاصلے پر یا اس سے بھی کمEnglish
And was at a distance of but two bow-lengths or (even) nearer; Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 10
Arabic
فَأَوْحَىٰ إِلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ مَا أَوْحَىٰUrdu
پھر خدا نے اپنے بندے کی طرف جو بھیجا سو بھیجاEnglish
So did (Allah) convey the inspiration to His Servant- (conveyed) what He (meant) to convey. Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 11
Arabic
مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰUrdu
جو کچھ انہوں نے دیکھا ان کے دل نے اس کو جھوٹ نہ ماناEnglish
The (Prophet´s) (mind and) heart in no way falsified that which he saw. Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 12
Arabic
أَفَتُمَارُونَهُ عَلَىٰ مَا يَرَىٰUrdu
کیا جو کچھ وہ دیکھتے ہیں تم اس میں ان سے جھگڑتے ہو؟English
Will ye then dispute with him concerning what he saw? Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 13
Arabic
وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ نَزْلَةً أُخْرَىٰUrdu
اور انہوں نے اس کو ایک بار بھی دیکھا ہےEnglish
For indeed he saw him at a second descent, Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 14
Arabic
عِنْدَ سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهَىٰUrdu
پرلی حد کی بیری کے پاسEnglish
Near the Lote-tree beyond which none may pass: Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 15
Arabic
عِنْدَهَا جَنَّةُ الْمَأْوَىٰUrdu
اسی کے پاس رہنے کی جنت ہےEnglish
Near it is the Garden of Abode. Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 16
Arabic
إِذْ يَغْشَى السِّدْرَةَ مَا يَغْشَىٰUrdu
جب کہ اس بیری پر چھا رہا تھا جو چھا رہا تھاEnglish
Behold, the Lote-tree was shrouded (in mystery unspeakable!) Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 17
Arabic
مَا زَاغَ الْبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَىٰUrdu
ان کی آنکھ نہ تو اور طرف مائل ہوئی اور نہ (حد سے) آگے بڑھیEnglish
(His) sight never swerved, nor did it go wrong! Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 18
Arabic
لَقَدْ رَأَىٰ مِنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِ الْكُبْرَىٰUrdu
انہوں نے اپنے پروردگار (کی قدرت) کی کتنی ہی بڑی بڑی نشانیاں دیکھیںEnglish
For truly did he see, of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest! Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 19
Arabic
أَفَرَأَيْتُمُ اللَّاتَ وَالْعُزَّىٰUrdu
بھلا تم لوگوں نے لات اور عزیٰ کو دیکھاEnglish
Have ye seen Lat. and ´Uzza, Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 20
Arabic
وَمَنَاةَ الثَّالِثَةَ الْأُخْرَىٰUrdu
اور تیسرے منات کو (کہ یہ بت کہیں خدا ہوسکتے ہیں)English
And another, the third (goddess), Manat? Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 21
Arabic
أَلَكُمُ الذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ الْأُنْثَىٰUrdu
(مشرکو!) کیا تمہارے لئے تو بیٹے اور خدا کے لئے بیٹیاںEnglish
What! for you the male sex, and for Him, the female? Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 22
Arabic
تِلْكَ إِذًا قِسْمَةٌ ضِيزَىٰUrdu
یہ تقسیم تو بہت بےانصافی کی ہےEnglish
Behold, such would be indeed a division most unfair! Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 23
Arabic
إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا أَسْمَاءٌ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَا أَنْتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُمْ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ سُلْطَانٍ ۚ إِنْ يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى الْأَنْفُسُ ۖ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ مِنْ رَبِّهِمُ الْهُدَىٰUrdu
وہ تو صرف نام ہی نام ہیں جو تم نے اور تمہارے باپ دادا نے گھڑ لئے ہیں۔ خدا نے تو ان کی کوئی سند نازل نہیں کی۔ یہ لوگ محض ظن (فاسد) اور خواہشات نفس کے پیچھے چل رہے ہیں۔ حالانکہ ان کے پروردگار کی طرف سے ان کے پاس ہدایت آچکی ہےEnglish
These are nothing but names which ye have devised,- ye and your fathers,- for which Allah has sent down no authority (whatever). They follow nothing but conjecture and what their own souls desire!- Even though there has already come to them Guidance from their Lord! Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 24
Arabic
أَمْ لِلْإِنْسَانِ مَا تَمَنَّىٰUrdu
کیا جس چیز کی انسان آرزو کرتا ہے وہ اسے ضرور ملتی ہےEnglish
Nay, shall man have (just) anything he hankers after? Surah An-Najm: 53 Ayah: 25
