Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 1
Arabic
اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُUrdu
قیامت قریب آ پہنچی اور چاند شق ہوگیاEnglish
The Hour (of Judgment) is nigh, and the moon is cleft asunder. Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 2
Arabic
وَإِنْ يَرَوْا آيَةً يُعْرِضُوا وَيَقُولُوا سِحْرٌ مُسْتَمِرٌّUrdu
اور اگر (کافر) کوئی نشانی دیکھتے ہیں تو منہ پھیر لیتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ یہ ایک ہمیشہ کا جادو ہےEnglish
But if they see a Sign, they turn away, and say, "This is (but) transient magic." Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 3
Arabic
وَكَذَّبُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا أَهْوَاءَهُمْ ۚ وَكُلُّ أَمْرٍ مُسْتَقِرٌّUrdu
اور انہوں نے جھٹلایا اور اپنی خواہشوں کی پیروی کی اور ہر کام کا وقت مقرر ہےEnglish
They reject (the warning) and follow their (own) lusts but every matter has its appointed time. Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 4
Arabic
وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ مِنَ الْأَنْبَاءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزْدَجَرٌUrdu
اور ان کو ایسے حالات (سابقین) پہنچ چکے ہیں جن میں عبرت ہےEnglish
There have already come to them Recitals wherein there is (enough) to check (them), Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 5
Arabic
حِكْمَةٌ بَالِغَةٌ ۖ فَمَا تُغْنِ النُّذُرُUrdu
اور کامل دانائی (کی کتاب بھی) لیکن ڈرانا ان کو کچھ فائدہ نہیں دیتاEnglish
Mature wisdom;- but (the preaching of) Warners profits them not. Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 6
Arabic
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ ۘ يَوْمَ يَدْعُ الدَّاعِ إِلَىٰ شَيْءٍ نُكُرٍUrdu
تو تم بھی ان کی کچھ پروا نہ کرو۔ جس دن بلانے والا ان کو ایک ناخوش چیز کی طرف بلائے گاEnglish
Therefore, (O Prophet,) turn away from them. The Day that the Caller will call (them) to a terrible affair, Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 7
Arabic
خُشَّعًا أَبْصَارُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ كَأَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُنْتَشِرٌUrdu
تو آنکھیں نیچی کئے ہوئے قبروں سے نکل پڑیں گے گویا بکھری ہوئی ٹڈیاںEnglish
They will come forth,- their eyes humbled - from (their) graves, (torpid) like locusts scattered abroad, Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 8
Arabic
مُهْطِعِينَ إِلَى الدَّاعِ ۖ يَقُولُ الْكَافِرُونَ هَٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرٌUrdu
اس بلانے والے کی طرف دوڑتے جاتے ہوں گے۔ کافر کہیں گے یہ دن بڑا سخت ہےEnglish
Hastening, with eyes transfixed, towards the Caller!- "Hard is this Day!", the Unbelievers will say. Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 9
Arabic
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ فَكَذَّبُوا عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُوا مَجْنُونٌ وَازْدُجِرَUrdu
ان سے پہلے نوحؑ کی قوم نے بھی تکذیب کی تھی تو انہوں نے ہمارے بندے کو جھٹلایا اور کہا کہ دیوانہ ہے اور انہیں ڈانٹا بھیEnglish
Before them the People of Noah rejected (their messenger): they rejected Our servant, and said, "Here is one possessed!", and he was driven out. Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 10
Arabic
فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانْتَصِرْUrdu
تو انہوں نے اپنے پروردگار سے دعا کی کہ (بار الٓہا) میں (ان کے مقابلے میں) کمزور ہوں تو (ان سے) بدلہ لےEnglish
Then he called on his Lord: "I am one overcome: do Thou then help (me)!" Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 11
Arabic
فَفَتَحْنَا أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ بِمَاءٍ مُنْهَمِرٍUrdu
پس ہم نے زور کے مینہ سے آسمان کے دہانے کھول دیئےEnglish
So We opened the gates of heaven, with water pouring forth. Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 12
Arabic
وَفَجَّرْنَا الْأَرْضَ عُيُونًا فَالْتَقَى الْمَاءُ عَلَىٰ أَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَUrdu
اور زمین میں چشمے جاری کردیئے تو پانی ایک کام کے لئے جو مقدر ہوچکا تھا جمع ہوگیاEnglish
And We caused the earth to gush forth with springs, so the waters met (and rose) to the extent decreed. Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 13
Arabic
وَحَمَلْنَاهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلْوَاحٍ وَدُسُرٍUrdu
اور ہم نے نوحؑ کو ایک کشتی پر جو تختوں اور میخوں سے تیار کی گئی تھی سوار کرلیاEnglish
But We bore him on an (Ark) made of broad planks and caulked with palm-fibre: Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 14
Arabic
تَجْرِي بِأَعْيُنِنَا جَزَاءً لِمَنْ كَانَ كُفِرَUrdu
وہ ہماری آنکھوں کے سامنے چلتی تھی۔ (یہ سب کچھ) اس شخص کے انتقام کے لئے (کیا گیا) جس کو کافر مانتے نہ تھےEnglish
She floats under our eyes (and care): a recompense to one who had been rejected (with scorn)! Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 15
Arabic
وَلَقَدْ تَرَكْنَاهَا آيَةً فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍUrdu
اور ہم نے اس کو ایک عبرت بنا چھوڑا تو کوئی ہے کہ سوچے سمجھے؟English
And We have left this as a Sign (for all time): then is there any that will receive admonition? Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 16
Arabic
فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِUrdu
سو (دیکھ لو کہ) میرا عذاب اور ڈرانا کیسا ہوا؟English
But how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning? Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 17
Arabic
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍUrdu
اور ہم نے قرآن کو سمجھنے کے لئے آسان کردیا ہے تو کوئی ہے کہ سوچے سمجھے؟English
And We have indeed made the Qur´an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 18
Arabic
كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِUrdu
عاد نے بھی تکذیب کی تھی سو (دیکھ لو کہ) میرا عذاب اور ڈرانا کیسا ہواEnglish
The ´Ad (people) (too) rejected (Truth): then how terrible was My Penalty and My Warning? Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 19
Arabic
إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِي يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُسْتَمِرٍّUrdu
ہم نے ان پر سخت منحوس دن میں آندھی چلائیEnglish
For We sent against them a furious wind, on a Day of violent Disaster, Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 20
Arabic
تَنْزِعُ النَّاسَ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُنْقَعِرٍUrdu
وہ لوگوں کو (اس طرح) اکھیڑے ڈالتی تھی گویا اکھڑی ہوئی کھجوروں کے تنے ہیںEnglish
Plucking out men as if they were roots of palm-trees torn up (from the ground). Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 21
Arabic
فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِUrdu
سو (دیکھ لو کہ) میرا عذاب اور ڈرانا کیسا ہواEnglish
Yea, how (terrible) was My Penalty and My Warning! Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 22
Arabic
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍUrdu
اور ہم نے قرآن کو سمجھنے کے لئے آسان کردیا ہے تو کوئی ہے کہ سوچے سمجھے؟English
But We have indeed made the Qur´an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 23
Arabic
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِالنُّذُرِUrdu
ثمود نے بھی ہدایت کرنے والوں کو جھٹلایاEnglish
The Thamud (also) rejected (their) Warners. Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 24
Arabic
فَقَالُوا أَبَشَرًا مِنَّا وَاحِدًا نَتَّبِعُهُ إِنَّا إِذًا لَفِي ضَلَالٍ وَسُعُرٍUrdu
اور کہا کہ بھلا ایک آدمی جو ہم ہی میں سے ہے ہم اس کی پیروی کریں؟ یوں ہو تو ہم گمراہی اور دیوانگی میں پڑ گئےEnglish
For they said: "What! a man! a Solitary one from among ourselves! shall we follow such a one? Truly should we then be straying in mind, and mad! Surah Al-Qamar: 54 Ayah: 25
