Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 1

وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَاUrdu
سورج کی قسم اور اس کی روشنی کیEnglish
By the Sun and his (glorious) splendour; Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 2
Arabic
وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَاهَاUrdu
اور چاند کی جب اس کے پیچھے نکلےEnglish
By the Moon as she follows him; Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 3
Arabic
وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّاهَاUrdu
اور دن کی جب اُسے چمکا دےEnglish
By the Day as it shows up (the Sun´s) glory; Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 4
Arabic
وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَاهَاUrdu
اور رات کی جب اُسے چھپا لےEnglish
By the Night as it conceals it; Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 5
Arabic
وَالسَّمَاءِ وَمَا بَنَاهَاUrdu
اور آسمان کی اور اس ذات کی جس نے اسے بنایاEnglish
By the Firmament and its (wonderful) structure; Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 6
Arabic
وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَاهَاUrdu
اور زمین کی اور اس کی جس نے اسے پھیلایاEnglish
By the Earth and its (wide) expanse: Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 7
Arabic
وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَاUrdu
اور انسان کی اور اس کی جس نے اس (کے اعضا) کو برابر کیاEnglish
By the Soul, and the proportion and order given to it; Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 8
Arabic
فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَاUrdu
پھر اس کو بدکاری (سے بچنے) اور پرہیزگاری کرنے کی سمجھ دیEnglish
And its enlightenment as to its wrong and its right;- Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 9
Arabic
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ زَكَّاهَاUrdu
کہ جس نے (اپنے) نفس (یعنی روح) کو پاک رکھا وہ مراد کو پہنچاEnglish
Truly he succeeds that purifies it, Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 10
Arabic
وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ دَسَّاهَاUrdu
اور جس نے اسے خاک میں ملایا وہ خسارے میں رہاEnglish
And he fails that corrupts it! Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 11
Arabic
كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَاهَاUrdu
(قوم) ثمود نے اپنی سرکشی کے سبب (پیغمبر کو) جھٹلایاEnglish
The Thamud (people) rejected (their prophet) through their inordinate wrong-doing, Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 12
Arabic
إِذِ انْبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَاUrdu
جب ان میں سے ایک نہایت بدبخت اٹھاEnglish
Behold, the most wicked man among them was deputed (for impiety). Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 13
Arabic
فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ نَاقَةَ اللَّهِ وَسُقْيَاهَاUrdu
تو خدا کے پیغمبر (صالح) نے ان سے کہا کہ خدا کی اونٹنی اور اس کے پانی پینے کی باری سے عذر کروEnglish
But the Messenger of Allah said to them: "It is a She-camel of Allah! And (bar her not from) having her drink!" Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 14
Arabic
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ بِذَنْبِهِمْ فَسَوَّاهَاUrdu
مگر انہوں نے پیغمبر کو جھٹلایا اور اونٹنی کی کونچیں کاٹ دیں تو خدا نے ان کےگناہ کے سبب ان پر عذاب نازل کیا اور سب کو (ہلاک کر کے) برابر کر دیاEnglish
Then they rejected him (as a false prophet), and they hamstrung her. So their Lord, on account of their crime, obliterated their traces and made them equal (in destruction, high and low)! Surah Ash-Shams: 91 Ayah: 15
