Surah Al-Baqara: 2 Ayah: 235
Arabic
وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِيمَا عَرَّضْتُمْ بِهِ مِنْ خِطْبَةِ النِّسَاءِ أَوْ أَكْنَنْتُمْ فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ ۚ عَلِمَ اللَّهُ أَنَّكُمْ سَتَذْكُرُونَهُنَّ وَلَٰكِنْ لَا تُوَاعِدُوهُنَّ سِرًّا إِلَّا أَنْ تَقُولُوا قَوْلًا مَعْرُوفًا ۚ وَلَا تَعْزِمُوا عُقْدَةَ النِّكَاحِ حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ الْكِتَابُ أَجَلَهُ ۚ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُ ۚ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌUrdu
اور اگر تم کنائے کی باتوں میں عورتوں کو نکاح کا پیغام بھیجو یا (نکاح کی خواہش کو) اپنے دلوں میں مخفی رکھو تو تو تم پر کچھ گناہ نہیں۔ خدا کو معلوم ہے کہ تم ان سے (نکاح کا) ذکر کرو گے۔ مگر (ایام عدت میں) اس کے سوا کہ دستور کے مطابق کوئی بات کہہ دو پوشیدہ طور پر ان سے قول واقرار نہ کرنا۔ اور جب تک عدت پوری نہ ہولے نکاح کا پختہ ارادہ نہ کرنا۔ اور جان رکھو کہ جو کچھ تمہارے دلوں میں ہے خدا کو سب معلوم ہے تو اس سے ڈرتے رہو اور جان رکھو کہ خدا بخشنے والا اور حلم والا ہےEnglish
There is no blame on you if ye make an offer of betrothal or hold it in your hearts. Allah knows that ye cherish them in your hearts: But do not make a secret contract with them except in terms Honourable, nor resolve on the tie of marriage till the term prescribed is fulfilled. And know that Allah Knoweth what is in your hearts, and take heed of Him; and know that Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Forbearing. Surah An-Nisaa: 4 Ayah: 21
Arabic
وَكَيْفَ تَأْخُذُونَهُ وَقَدْ أَفْضَىٰ بَعْضُكُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ وَأَخَذْنَ مِنْكُمْ مِيثَاقًا غَلِيظًاUrdu
اور تم دیا ہوا مال کیونکر واپس لے سکتے ہو جب کہ تم ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ صحبت کرچکے ہو۔ اور وہ تم سے عہد واثق بھی لے چکی ہےEnglish
And how could ye take it when ye have gone in unto each other, and they have Taken from you a solemn covenant? Surah An-Nisaa: 4 Ayah: 33
Arabic
وَلِكُلٍّ جَعَلْنَا مَوَالِيَ مِمَّا تَرَكَ الْوَالِدَانِ وَالْأَقْرَبُونَ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ عَقَدَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ فَآتُوهُمْ نَصِيبَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدًاUrdu
اور جو مال ماں باپ اور رشتہ دار چھوڑ مریں تو (حق داروں میں تقسیم کردو کہ) ہم نے ہر ایک کے حقدار مقرر کردیئے ہیں اور جن لوگوں سے تم عہد کرچکے ہو ان کو بھی ان کا حصہ دو بےشک خدا ہر چیز کے سامنے ہےEnglish
To (benefit) every one, We have appointed shares and heirs to property left by parents and relatives. To those, also, to whom your right hand was pledged, give their due portion. For truly Allah is witness to all things. Surah An-Nisaa: 4 Ayah: 90
Arabic
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِيثَاقٌ أَوْ جَاءُوكُمْ حَصِرَتْ صُدُورُهُمْ أَنْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ أَوْ يُقَاتِلُوا قَوْمَهُمْ ۚ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَسَلَّطَهُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ فَلَقَاتَلُوكُمْ ۚ فَإِنِ اعْتَزَلُوكُمْ فَلَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ وَأَلْقَوْا إِلَيْكُمُ السَّلَمَ فَمَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ سَبِيلًاUrdu
مگر جو لوگ ایسے لوگوں سے جا ملے ہوں جن میں اور تم میں (صلح کا) عہد ہو یا اس حال میں کہ ان کے دل تمہارے ساتھ یا اپنی قوم کے ساتھ لڑنے سے رک گئے ہوں تمہارے پاس آجائیں (تو احتراز ضروری نہیں) اور اگر خدا چاہتا تو ان کو تم پر غالب کردیتا تو وہ تم سے ضرور لڑتے پھر اگر وہ تم سے (جنگ کرنے سے) کنارہ کشی کریں اور لڑیں نہیں اور تمہاری طرف صلح (کا پیغام) بھیجیں تو خدا نے تمہارے لئے ان پر (زبردستی کرنے کی) کوئی سبیل مقرر نہیں کیEnglish
Except those who join a group between whom and you there is a treaty (of peace), or those who approach you with hearts restraining them from fighting you as well as fighting their own people. If Allah had pleased, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you: Therefore if they withdraw from you but fight you not, and (instead) send you (Guarantees of) peace, then Allah Hath opened no way for you (to war against them). Surah An-Nisaa: 4 Ayah: 92
Arabic
وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ أَنْ يَقْتُلَ مُؤْمِنًا إِلَّا خَطَأً ۚ وَمَنْ قَتَلَ مُؤْمِنًا خَطَأً فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُؤْمِنَةٍ وَدِيَةٌ مُسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَصَّدَّقُوا ۚ فَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ عَدُوٍّ لَكُمْ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُؤْمِنَةٍ ۖ وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِيثَاقٌ فَدِيَةٌ مُسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ وَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُؤْمِنَةٍ ۖ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ تَوْبَةً مِنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًاUrdu
اور کسی مومن کو شایان نہیں کہ مومن کو مار ڈالے مگر بھول کر اور جو بھول کر بھی مومن کو مار ڈالے تو (ایک تو) ایک مسلمان غلام آزاد کردے اور (دوسرے) مقتول کے وارثوں کو خون بہا دے ہاں اگر وہ معاف کردیں (تو ان کو اختیار ہے) اگر مقتول تمہارے دشمنوں کی جماعت میں سے ہو اور وہ خود مومن ہو تو صرف ایک مسلمان غلام آزاد کرنا چاہیئے اور اگر مقتول ایسے لوگوں میں سے ہو جن میں اور تم میں صلح کا عہد ہو تو وارثان مقتول کو خون بہا دینا اور ایک مسلمان غلام آزاد کرنا چاہیئے اور جس کو یہ میسر نہ ہو وہ متواتر دو مہینے کے روزے رکھے یہ (کفارہ) خدا کی طرف سے (قبول) توبہ (کے لئے) ہے اور خدا (سب کچھ) جانتا اور بڑی حکمت والا ہےEnglish
Never should a believer kill a believer; but (If it so happens) by mistake, (Compensation is due): If one (so) kills a believer, it is ordained that he should free a believing slave, and pay compensation to the deceased´s family, unless they remit it freely. If the deceased belonged to a people at war with you, and he was a believer, the freeing of a believing slave (Is enough). If he belonged to a people with whom ye have treaty of Mutual alliance, compensation should be paid to his family, and a believing slave be freed. For those who find this beyond their means, (is prescribed) a fast for two months running: by way of repentance to Allah: for Allah hath all knowledge and all wisdom. Surah Al-Anfal: 8 Ayah: 58
Arabic
وَإِمَّا تَخَافَنَّ مِنْ قَوْمٍ خِيَانَةً فَانْبِذْ إِلَيْهِمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَاءٍ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْخَائِنِينَUrdu
اور اگر تم کو کسی قوم سے دغا بازی کا خوف ہو تو (ان کا عہد) انہیں کی طرف پھینک دو (اور) برابر (کا جواب دو) کچھ شک نہیں کہ خدا دغابازوں کو دوست نہیں رکھتاEnglish
If thou fearest treachery from any group, throw back (their covenant) to them, (so as to be) on equal terms: for Allah loveth not the treacherous. Surah Al-Anfal: 8 Ayah: 72
Arabic
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَهَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِينَ آوَوْا وَنَصَرُوا أُولَٰئِكَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَمْ يُهَاجِرُوا مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ وَلَايَتِهِمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ حَتَّىٰ يُهَاجِرُوا ۚ وَإِنِ اسْتَنْصَرُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ النَّصْرُ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِيثَاقٌ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌUrdu
جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور وطن سے ہجرت کر گئے اور خدا کی راہ میں اپنے مال اور جان سے لڑے وہ اور جنہوں نے (ہجرت کرنے والوں کو) جگہ دی اور ان کی مدد کی وہ آپس میں ایک دوسرے کے رفیق ہیں۔ اور جو لوگ ایمان تو لے آئے لیکن ہجرت نہیں کی تو جب تک وہ ہجرت نہ کریں تم کو ان کی رفاقت سے کچھ سروکار نہیں۔ اور اگر وہ تم سے دین (کے معاملات) میں مدد طلب کریں تو تم کو مدد کرنی لازم ہوگی۔ مگر ان لوگوں کے مقابلے میں کہ تم میں اور ان میں (صلح کا) عہد ہو (مدد نہیں کرنی چاہیئے) اور خدا تمہارے سب کاموں کو دیکھ رہا ہےEnglish
Those who believed, and adopted exile, and fought for the Faith, with their property and their persons, in the cause of Allah, as well as those who gave (them) asylum and aid,- these are (all) friends and protectors, one of another. As to those who believed but came not into exile, ye owe no duty of protection to them until they come into exile; but if they seek your aid in religion, it is your duty to help them, except against a people with whom ye have a treaty of mutual alliance. And (remember) Allah seeth all that ye do. Surah At-Tauba: 9 Ayah: 4
Arabic
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ عَاهَدْتُمْ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَنْقُصُوكُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَمْ يُظَاهِرُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَحَدًا فَأَتِمُّوا إِلَيْهِمْ عَهْدَهُمْ إِلَىٰ مُدَّتِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَUrdu
البتہ جن مشرکوں کے ساتھ تم نے عہد کیا ہو اور انہوں نے تمہارا کسی طرح کا قصور نہ کیا ہو اور نہ تمہارے مقابلے میں کسی کی مدد کی ہو تو جس مدت تک ان کے ساتھ عہد کیا ہو اسے پورا کرو۔ (کہ) خدا پرہیزگاروں کو دوست رکھتا ہےEnglish
(But the treaties are) not dissolved with those Pagans with whom ye have entered into alliance and who have not subsequently failed you in aught, nor aided any one against you. So fulfil your engagements with them to the end of their term: for Allah loveth the righteous. Surah At-Tauba: 9 Ayah: 7
Arabic
كَيْفَ يَكُونُ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ عَهْدٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَعِنْدَ رَسُولِهِ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ عَاهَدْتُمْ عِنْدَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ ۖ فَمَا اسْتَقَامُوا لَكُمْ فَاسْتَقِيمُوا لَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَUrdu
بھلا مشرکوں کے لیے (جنہوں نے عہد توڑ ڈالا) خدا اور اس کے رسول کے نزدیک عہد کیونکر (قائم) رہ سکتا ہے ہاں جن لوگوں کے ساتھ تم نے مسجد محترم (یعنی خانہ کعبہ) کے نزدیک عہد کیا ہے اگر وہ (اپنے عہد پر) قائم رہیں تو تم بھی اپنے قول وقرار (پر) قائم رہو۔ بےشک خدا پرہیز گاروں کو دوست رکھتا ہےEnglish
How can there be a league, before Allah and His Messenger, with the Pagans, except those with whom ye made a treaty near the sacred Mosque? As long as these stand true to you, stand ye true to them: for Allah doth love the righteous. Surah At-Tauba: 9 Ayah: 12
Arabic
وَإِنْ نَكَثُوا أَيْمَانَهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ عَهْدِهِمْ وَطَعَنُوا فِي دِينِكُمْ فَقَاتِلُوا أَئِمَّةَ الْكُفْرِ ۙ إِنَّهُمْ لَا أَيْمَانَ لَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَنْتَهُونَUrdu
اور اگر عہد کرنے کے بعد اپنی قسموں کو توڑ ڈالیں اور تمہارے دین میں طعنے کرنے لگیں تو ان کفر کے پیشواؤں سے جنگ کرو (یہ یہ بےایمان لوگ ہیں اور) ان کی قسموں کا کچھ اعتبار نہیں ہے۔ عجب نہیں کہ (اپنی حرکات سے) باز آجائیںEnglish
But if they violate their oaths after their covenant, and taunt you for your Faith,- fight ye the chiefs of Unfaith: for their oaths are nothing to them: that thus they may be restrained. Surah Al-Muminun: 23 Ayah: 1
Arabic
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَUrdu
بےشک ایمان والے رستگار ہوگئےEnglish
The believers must (eventually) win through,- Surah Al-Muminun: 23 Ayah: 2
Arabic
الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ خَاشِعُونَUrdu
جو نماز میں عجزو نیاز کرتے ہیںEnglish
Those who humble themselves in their prayers; Surah Al-Muminun: 23 Ayah: 3
Arabic
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنِ اللَّغْوِ مُعْرِضُونَUrdu
اور جو بیہودہ باتوں سے منہ موڑے رہتے ہیںEnglish
Who avoid vain talk; Surah Al-Muminun: 23 Ayah: 4
Arabic
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِلزَّكَاةِ فَاعِلُونَUrdu
اور جو زکوٰة ادا کرتے ہیںEnglish
Who are active in deeds of charity; Surah Al-Muminun: 23 Ayah: 5
Arabic
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَUrdu
اور جو اپنی شرمگاہوں کی حفاظت کرتے ہیںEnglish
Who abstain from sex, Surah Al-Muminun: 23 Ayah: 6
Arabic
إِلَّا عَلَىٰ أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَUrdu
مگر اپنی بیویوں سے یا (کنیزوں سے) جو ان کی مِلک ہوتی ہیں کہ (ان سے) مباشرت کرنے سے انہیں ملامت نہیںEnglish
Except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (in their case) they are free from blame, Surah Al-Muminun: 23 Ayah: 7
Arabic
فَمَنِ ابْتَغَىٰ وَرَاءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَUrdu
اور جو ان کے سوا اوروں کے طالب ہوں وہ (خدا کی مقرر کی ہوئی حد سے) نکل جانے والے ہیںEnglish
But those whose desires exceed those limits are transgressors;- Surah Al-Muminun: 23 Ayah: 8
Arabic
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَUrdu
اور جو امانتوں اور اقراروں کو ملحوظ رکھتے ہیںEnglish
Those who faithfully observe their trusts and their covenants; Surah Al-Muminun: 23 Ayah: 9
Arabic
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَوَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَUrdu
اور جو نمازوں کی پابندی کرتے ہیںEnglish
And who (strictly) guard their prayers;- Surah Al-Muminun: 23 Ayah: 10
Arabic
أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْوَارِثُونَUrdu
یہ ہی لوگ میراث حاصل کرنے والے ہیںEnglish
These will be the heirs, Surah Al-Muminun: 23 Ayah: 11
Arabic
الَّذِينَ يَرِثُونَ الْفِرْدَوْسَ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَUrdu
(یعنی) جو بہشت کی میراث حاصل کریں گے۔ اور اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گےEnglish
Who will inherit Paradise: they will dwell therein (for ever). Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 19
Arabic
إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًاUrdu
کچھ شک نہیں کہ انسان کم حوصلہ پیدا ہوا ہےEnglish
Truly man was created very impatient;- Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 20
Arabic
إِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ جَزُوعًاUrdu
جب اسے تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو گھبرا اٹھتا ہےEnglish
Fretful when evil touches him; Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 21
Arabic
وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الْخَيْرُ مَنُوعًاUrdu
اور جب آسائش حاصل ہوتی ہے تو بخیل بن جاتا ہےEnglish
And niggardly when good reaches him;- Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 22
Arabic
إِلَّا الْمُصَلِّينَUrdu
مگر نماز گزارEnglish
Not so those devoted to Prayer;- Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 23
Arabic
الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ دَائِمُونَUrdu
جو نماز کا التزام رکھتے (اور بلاناغہ پڑھتے) ہیںEnglish
Those who remain steadfast to their prayer; Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 24
Arabic
وَالَّذِينَ فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَعْلُومٌUrdu
اور جن کے مال میں حصہ مقرر ہےEnglish
And those in whose wealth is a recognised right. Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 25
Arabic
لِلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِUrdu
(یعنی) مانگنے والے کا۔ اور نہ مانگے والے والا کاEnglish
For the (needy) who asks and him who is prevented (for some reason from asking); Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 26
Arabic
وَالَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِUrdu
اور جو روز جزا کو سچ سمجھتے ہیںEnglish
And those who hold to the truth of the Day of Judgment; Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 27
Arabic
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ مِنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِمْ مُشْفِقُونَUrdu
اور جو اپنے پروردگار کے عذاب سے خوف رکھتے ہیںEnglish
And those who fear the displeasure of their Lord,- Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 28
Arabic
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمْ غَيْرُ مَأْمُونٍUrdu
بےشک ان کے پروردگار کا عذاب ہے ہی ایسا کہ اس سے بےخوف نہ ہوا جائےEnglish
For their Lord´s displeasure is the opposite of Peace and Tranquillity;- Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 29
Arabic
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَافِظُونَUrdu
اور جو اپنی شرمگاہوں کی حفاظت کرتے ہیںEnglish
And those who guard their chastity, Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 30
Arabic
إِلَّا عَلَىٰ أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَUrdu
مگر اپنی بیویوں یا لونڈیوں سے کہ (ان کے پاس جانے پر) انہیں کچھ ملامت نہیںEnglish
Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (then) they are not to be blamed, Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 31
Arabic
فَمَنِ ابْتَغَىٰ وَرَاءَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَUrdu
اور جو لوگ ان کے سوا اور کے خواستگار ہوں وہ حد سے نکل جانے والے ہیںEnglish
But those who trespass beyond this are transgressors;- Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 32
Arabic
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِأَمَانَاتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَUrdu
اور جو اپنی امانتوں اور اقراروں کا پاس کرتے ہیںEnglish
And those who respect their trusts and covenants; Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 33
Arabic
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ بِشَهَادَاتِهِمْ قَائِمُونَUrdu
اور جو اپنی شہادتوں پر قائم رہتے ہیںEnglish
And those who stand firm in their testimonies; Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 34
Arabic
وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَUrdu
اور جو اپنی نماز کی خبر رکھتے ہیںEnglish
And those who guard (the sacredness) of their worship;- Surah Al-Ma'arij: 70 Ayah: 35
